Five chief Editors in a unique appeal today in Sweden

Under the headline, “ Free Dawit Isaak!”

The Eritrean Human rights abuses have got a huge media coverage by five prominent journalists who are chief editors of the Swedish Daily News papers. The coverage was almost ten pages with editorials and analysis about the abuses and the Swedish pursued policy of silence diplomacy with dictator Essays never got results. It stressed that silent diplomacy has failed and other method of pressure must be sought to release Dawit Isaak and others in detention. All the morning and evening papers were full of reports on Human rights abuses in Eritrea under the dictatorship that never listen the appeals of the international community and demand that the regime in Eritrea release Dawit Isaak and all others of conscious  and political prisoners.

Professor Tekeste Negash in his article published on the Evening news paper( Aftonbladet) admired the struggle of the Swedish activists, journalists and the media to free Dawit Isaak. “Dawit Isaak has got a special place in our heart” added, Tekeste.

“The regime in Eritrea intolerable to critics and the worst regime against press freedom” said, Ola Säll of the Swedish Daily paper from Capetown- South Africa.

Some of the issues raised on the coverage were stop the EU- Aid, the regime in Eritrea does not deserve it. The silent diplomacy with Eritrean Dictator has never shown positive results since seven and half years. Any assistance to the dictators never reach the people but are used for military expenditures in Eritrea because there is transparency and accountability, it may have been used for building prisons not schools in Eritrea.

ሎሚ ዕለት 27 መጋቢት 2009 ግህሰት ሰብኣዊ መሰላት ኣብ ኤርትራ ዓቢይ ጋዜጣዊ መግለጺ ብሓለፍቲ ዓበይቲ ጋዜጤኛታት ሃገረ ስዊደን ኣቃልቦ ረኺቡ፣ እቲ ዝወጸ ኣብ ኩለን ጋዜጣታት፣ ኣብ ርእሰ ዓንቀጽን ኣብ ካልእ ዓምድታት ሓተታን ኢዩ። እቲ ቀንዲ ጉዳያት ግህሰት ስብኣዊ መሰላት ኣብ ኤርትራ ኮይኑ፣ ዋና ሕመረት ናይቲ ጽሑፍ ነቲ መንግስቲ ስዊደን ትኽተሎ ዘላ ናይ ስቁታ ዲፕሎማሲ ምስ ውልቀ መላኺ  ስርዓት ዝወቅስን፣ ነቲ ሕብረት ኤውሮፓ ትሓስቦ ዘላ ሓገዝ ናይ ልምዓት ደው ክብል ዝጠልብን ናብ መንግስቲ ስዊደንን ሕብረት ኤሮፓን ዘትኰረ ኢዩ፣ ብሓጺሩ እቲ ናይ “ስቁታ ዲፕሎማሲ” ( Silent Diplomacy) ካብ 7 ዓመትን ፈረቃን ሓንቲ ውጺኢት ኣየርአየን፣ ብውልቀ መላኺ  ኢሳያስ ድማ ተሰማዕነት የብሉን፣ እዚ ስልቲዚ ተሪፉ ሓደ ክብድ ዘበል ስጉምትታት ክውሰድ ኣለዎ ይብል፣ እቲ ጽሑፍ።

ብዛዕባ ናይ ሕብረት ኤውሮፓ ዝኽተልዎ ቅዋም ምስ ወልቀ መላኺ ኢሳያስ ክንዲ ብትሪ ቅድመ ኩነት ምሃብ ንወልቀ መላኺ ሓገዝ እናህብካ ኢዩ ዝብል ድማ፣ ብመስላት ሕዝቢ ልግጫን ንዕቀት ሕዝብን ሰለዝኾነ፣ እዚ ከምዚ ዓይነት ሓገዝ ምስ ወልቀ መለኽቲ ነቲ እከይ ተግባራት ናይ ኢሳያስ ንምሕባእ ዝተሓባበር ኢሞራላውን ኢሰብኣውን ተግባራት ኢኡ ኢሉ ኣምሪሩ ይወቅስ።

ኣጆኩም ደሞክራስያውን ሓይልታት ኤርትራውያን ነቲ ንነዊሕ ዓመታት ክንኣትዎ ዝተቃለስናሉ ገዛ መድያ ( Media House) ስዊደን ኣቲናዮ፣ ሕጂ ተሪፉ ዘሎ፣ ኩል ግዜ ምሕብሓቡን፣ ምስናቁን ተራና ኢዩ።

ኤርትራን ሕዝባን ክዕወቱ ኢዩም!
