Las Vegas Public Meeting

On September 29, 2010 a general public meeting was held in Las Vegas.  The main agenda was a report about the National Conference for Democratic change held in Addis Abeba.   Out of the two hours time allotted for the meeting Saad M. Musa, ENDC member, spoke for twenty minutes covering the activities of the conference– from workshop discussions to the election of the commission and it’s executive body.  The rest of the time was devoted to Q & A, comments and proposals by the attendees.

Most of the questions asked were about the composition of the participants in the conference, issues discussed why it was in Ethiopia! and about the final resolutions of the conference.  All questions were answered to the satisfaction of the attendees.

At the end of the meeting all attendees expressed their willingness and readiness to work with ENDC to achieve the goals of the national conference.  For that purpose, it was agreed to spread the word and to convene a larger meeting in two weeks time to elect a local committee.
