Khalifa Concludes His European Tour

  Mr.Hussien Khalifa, the Chairman of the Executive Body of the Eritrean Democratic Alliance, has concludeed his European tour. Mr.Khalifa has addressed Eritrean communities in Europe at the Kassel Festival and held extensive meetings with Eritrean intellectuals, civic society organizations and with concerned authorities about the Eritrean affairs in Germany and UK. Mr Khalifa has reviewed, in the interview he had at the Channel of future, the latest developments in the Eritrean arena. Furthermore he has held meetings with Ethiopian officials on top of whom Mr.Seyum Mesfun, the Ethiopian Foreign Minister, on his way to Khartoum.

On other related news, the Eritrean Liberation Front holds its seventh congress at the end of this month. The conference is expected to be transformational on the organization’s level and the Eritrean political level as well. The ELF’s Chairman Mr.Abdella Idriss, had chaired the first Eritrean Alliance which was set up in March 1999. Furthermore, the deputy chairman of the ELF, Mr Hussien Khalifa, has played a great role in the formation of the Eritrean Democratic Alliance in March 2005 for which he was chosen as a Chairman of the “Executive Body.”
