Hussaien Khalifa Starts His First European Tour

Mr.Hussaien Khalifa, the Chairman of the Executive Office of the EDA, disclosed to the GIC and EMC that he would brief the participating Eritrean at Kassel Festival, Germany, about the circumstances of Eritreans and the developments the EAD is passing through. He added that he would call on the Eritrean mass in Europe to back up the EDA to remove the dictatorial regime in Asmara.
Moreover he said that he would hold, at the margin of the festival, a series of meetings with European civil society organizations. “I will enlighten them about the human rights violations of the regime,” said Mr.Hussaien
In related news, this year’s Kassel Festival is expected to witness wide popular meetings and forums at the margin of the festival for various Eritrean political powers particularly the civil society organizations. Furthermore the supporting committee of the “Forum of Dialogue” which is headed by Dr.Tesfazion Medhane will hold its meeting and present its report about its activities. It is recalled that the supporting committee of the Forum of Dialogue was founded last year and was adopted by the former ENA.
Mr. Mohammd Taha Twekel will, for the first time, be absent from participating at the festival due to some circumstances. He said that this year’s festival a great transformation for the Eritrean opposition for it is conducted under the umbrella of the EDA.” I really thank the preparatory committee of the festival for their invitation. I am sorry for not being able to participate due to some obligations,” Added Twekel. Mr.Twekel has already begun a tour in the Arab world where he would brief concerned bodies and institutions about the latest developments in the Eritrean arena, according to him.
