Declaration of a New Party

Khartoum (August28,2005)-  a new party by the name Al-Nahda has declared, today, its birth in the Eritrean opposition arena. The new party has made a  new addition to the Eritrean opposition factions which are struggling against  the regime of Asmara. The new party, in its manifesto, has addressed the Eritrean people saying that the PFDJ has ever since it held power ,  has been coming up with obstacles before all hopes to impede the attempts for renaissance of the country by ruling it individually. The statement said, “We are issuing our manifesto in solidarity with  the Eritrean parties that are struggling  against the PFDJ and to declare our political activities inside and out side the homeland.” The party has affirmed its agreement with all opposition organizations to topple the regime  to get back the looted rights. The statement has also confirmed the unity of the Eritrean soil and society; and it has stated that it will work for the unity of the national struggle to establish a democratic and just state.
