Remembering the HERO

You were a Hero who walked among us

Never looked for glory or praise

You don’t seek recognition

For your unwavering fighting ways

Continued the fight with deep commitment

Provided leadership to those followed and hears

Steadfast with a quiet strength

Marching forward without doubts or fears

You were a Great leader to everyone and me

The most selfless comrade by far

So martyr Syoum O. Michael I’d like to thank you

For being the HERO that you are

A hero only dies when he’s forgotten

A hero only dies when we forget

So, we promise to remember,

And, to keep him in our heart

As long as we remember

Then, we’ll never be apart
