Open Invitation

Eritrean youth global movement (EYGM) has been working tirelessly to organize, mobilize and agitate among youth to stand for justice and democracy. Eritrean youth global movement believes that young generation is the future of Eritrea. It is also an agent of change. Indeed, if the young generation politically oriented and organized with their new vision, no doubt the youth would overcome their current challenges and achieve the ultimate goal.

Believing on this core principle, the Eritrean Youth Global Movement has organized a future oriented solution based symposium under the theme of” Youth: Spearheads of Peace” in Washington Dc on Aug 14 to 15, 2010. Guest speakers from different experience back grounds are invited to encourage the youth, share their experiences and their expectations of the Eritrean youth in the process of finding solutions.

Furthermore, the symposium will create an environment whereby Eritrean youth come together to discuss about the current Eritrean situation, identify the challenges that the young generation is facing and to asses for durable solutions.

It will be an honor and a real success to see a big crowd of Eritrean Youth willing to share their experiences and search for solutions for a better Future of our Nation, by discussing and showing sincere initiatives on overcoming our differences. Besides, it is also a high time for the youth to stand-up to take initiative, think about future Eritrean generations and say enough is enough to the dictatorship. It is also the time to show necessary commitment and take action for a democratic change.

Therefore, Eritrean youth global movement once again invites all change seeking Eritreans, especially the youth to participate in this historic symposium and share their experience.

We shall never give-up

We shall never stop struggling till we achieve the promised objectives!!!
