The EDA concludes its second periodical meeting

GIC Khartoum (Sep.25,)-Mr.Hussien Khaliefa, Chairman of the Executive Office of the EDA, said while talking to the GIC about the second periodical conference of the central body of the EDA, that the conference was successful. He added that the sessions of the meeting were characterized by transparency; adding that the elapsed period of the EDA was a period of instituting the EDA and the coming period is the “working period.” Mr.Hussien called on the Eritrean people to support and back up the EDA to get rid of the regime in Eritrea.

The concluding statement of the EDA has stated that the meeting of the central body of the EDA has reviewed the miserable security and political situations in Eritrea, the flux of the Eritrean youth into the neighboring countries and the danger they are facing, the situations of the refugees along with an all-out assessment of the performance of the EDA; confirming that the regime is insisting on using means of oppressions and repressions against the people.

The central body of the EDA has appreciated the roles of international organizations for shedding lights into the violations of human rights and appealed to the international community to intervene very quickly to release the prisoners of conscience.

The meeting has elected Mr.Abdellla Adem, chairman of the EPM, deputy chairman of the Executive Office of the EDA, Mr. Mohammed Nur Ahmed, from the EDP, administrative secretary and Mr.Grenilyos for the Social Affairs.

The EDA has thanked the neighboring countries for supporting and backing up the struggles of the Eritrean people.
