Eritrean al-Nhada Party joins the Eritrean Democratic Alliance

May3, 2006(KHARTOUM)-Informed sources have disclosed that the third ordinary meeting of the Eritrean Democratic Alliance (EDA) has admitted the Eritrean al-Nhada Party into its membership. However, the Eritrean Congress Party’s application for the membership of the EDA has been rejected for the second times as well as the application of the Gash Barka party which has asked for retaining its membership it lost after joining the Eritrean Congress party.

The other most resolution the third ordinary meeting of the EDA has concluded is setting the coming month of December to hold its general conference, in which most files have postponed, according to the source.

The source added that the EDA is due to release a statement tomorrow.
