Following a series of workshops that were held in Addis back in July 2009, in DC and other cities throughout 2009, the preparatory committee was established few weeks ago in a meeting that was taken place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The PCNC is composed of representatives of the Eritrean Democratic Alliance (EDA) and representatives of Eritrean civil society groups and the committee had just completed its 1st meeting in Addis Ababa and set July 30, 2010 as the National Conference date.

March 21, 2010 (ADDIS ABABA) — Ethiopian prime minister fired fresh allegation against arch-foe Eritrea ,accusing the red sea nation of preparing to carry out sabotage in the upcoming nation election using “own sponsored destructive forces”, as he referred them.
